The Ford Excursion – it’s hard to come up with a better SUV that could ‘do it all’ from the 2000s era, as the Excursion could truly do it all in style and efficiently. The public started taking notice shortly after the Excursion was released on the market back in 1999 that these trucks not only had a level of comfort, technology, and styling that was top of class, but the powerplant (in various forms) was an absolute monster and extremely reliable. Particularly the 6.0L Turbo-Diesel “Power Stroke” V8 Engine that would blow any of the competition out of the water – 325 horsepower and an extremely impressive 560lb-ft of torque – and probably the most reliable of the Excursion engine options. This example of course comes with that glorious engine, along with a suite of upgrades to truly make it a unique find on the market. Prior ownership has added a Lift Kit w/ Pro Comp ES9000 Shocks along with a set of wheels/tires to make it an extremely capable SUV in any conditions. A set of Amp Research Power Running Boards has been fitted along with a Pre-Runner Style Front Bumper and some Fender Flares to complete the appearance. Under the hood, an S&B Cold Air Intake Kit helps improve performance along with a Modified Exhaust to let the 6.0L Turbo-Diesel V8 make all the noises you want to hear.
