I have a 1985 Toyota 4 runner. It does have a clear title and is taged and registered in fl. But it has been an off road only truck for me. I’ve had it 5-6 years. Since my ownership I have done the following. Rebuilt both axle, new bearings, seals. gears 4.11 Yukon. Spools front and rear. Trunion bearing eliminator kit and cromoly hub gears up front. Rebuilt transmission all new bearings. Rebuilt 2.28 crawl box. New bearings. Rebuilt transfer case with low gear kit and new bearings. GM 1 wire alt with electric fan. New radiator. New timing chain, tension er, and guides. New head gasket. New 3/4 rod ends on all steering ends. Odometer is showing 178k but is not working so unknown mileage. It is sr5 model. Dash is cracked and theirs no carpet but has original seats. no driver door handle. Whole truck is bed-lined. Has 44 cut bogger’s on 21″ wide wheels. Motor has valve tap at around 2k rpm’s but runs great, no smoke at all and doesn’t burn any oil. Truck is not perfect but is very reliable and will go almost anywhere you point it.gear in double low. Very low  I have 1 extra long side axle shaft. Power rear window works and has sunroof. Has winch mount front bumper. No rubber boots around shifter’s.
